Long awaited and hugely popular is the new Root Industries Air Double Clamp in Chrome Silver. Root are the experts behind lightweight, strong and hugely popular hollowcore air wheels and have begun to bring out other parts to scooters, applying the same concepts.

From 3 years in the development comes the Air Double Clamps, and have listened the top riders wants and needs, including a 6mm bolts that many riders prefer. This clamp has been made to withhard intense riding styles and riders performing stunts to a high level as they're made to spread the impact when landing tricks, resulting in longer lasting parts.

Key Buying Advice:

Compression: What Compression do you want to use? IHC, HIC, SCS or ICS. The compression you have or want for your Scooter setup will affect what type of clamp you choose.

Fitting Bars with the Clamp:
1. Is there a slit or not? You can remove it or cut it into the bars for whatever compression you need.
2. What is the outside diameter of the bar

Fitting Forks with the Clamp:
1. What type of compression do you want in your setup? SCS, HIC, IHC or ICS.
2. What type of compression is the fork you have/want designed for? SCS, HIC, IHC or ICS

Standard Clamps:
Comes in single, double, triple or quad bolt styles.
Compression Types:
IHC: 31.8mm diameter or 34.9mm with a shim if needed
HIC: 34.9mm

SCS Clamps:
Comes usually in a 4 clamp setup, and not less.
SCS: 31.8mm or 34.9mm diameter, usually includes a shim for both diameter sized bars.

Scooter Clamps Buying Guide:

Clamps have two main types, regular clamps and SCS clamps.

Each of these can be suitable for either Standard (31.8mm) or Oversized bars (34.9mm).

1. Regular clamps - are used for IHC, HIC, ICS and Threaded compression systems, a standard or oversized clamp will be needed depending on the bar diameter. If the Oversized clamp comes with a shim it can be used with Standard and Oversized bars.

2. SCS clamps - is the clamp and compression system rolled into one. It uses a bolt going through the clamp and into the forks to compress the headset. SCS clamps have a lip in the centre as the bars do not go over the forks.

We provide a pre-filled returns form you can use for the return. For returns outside the UK, you'll be required to pay shipping costs with tracking.

Once received, a full refund to the value of the goods, minus the full cost of the us sending the order originally out to you will be given.

Warranty Policy - Our Risk Free Support

Within 30 Days of receipt of the items?

Simple 30 days retailer warranty on all orders with genuine manufacturer defects.

More than 30 Days?

We work with the brands/suppliers to see if it can be covered under warranty for you (usually it is, but depends on the way the damage has occurred).

Still not covered but within 6 months of purchase?

We offer a crash replacement policy, where we offer a goodwill policy of 25% discount off your next order with us for the same/alternative replacement item, not including postage costs.
