The Apex Mono Lite with the HIC Shim is the new iteration of the original Mono Kit! Apex have now milled the clamp to reduce weight but still maintaining strength. This great HIC kit is engineered to perfection, ensuring that there is enough clamping power in just the one M8 bolt to hold your bars tight to your forks.

99% of Decks are Integrated, as are Headsets. Simply make sure that the headset is integrated and it should fit your Scooter Deck.

Scooter Headsets Buying Guide:

There are three main types of Headsets; Threaded, Threadless and Integrated. A threaded system requires a threaded fork to be used, the Headset cups that house the bearings need to be installed into the deck during the installation of the headset.

A Threadless headset is similar in the fact that the headset cups need to be installed during installation however they require Threadless forks and a compression system such as SCS, HIC, or IHC. It is recommended that the headset cups that come with your new headset are used as most bearings vary in size so not all bearings for threaded or Threadless systems will fit every headset cup.

Integrated headsets are now the most common form of headset, “integrated” refers to the headset cups being machined into the headtube of the deck. Due to this an integrated deck will need to be used with this headset type.

There are two types of bearings used in headsets, Sealed and Unsealed. Unsealed bearings mean that the ball bearings are exposed. This makes them easier to clean however they generally do not last as long as sealed bearings. Unsealed bearings are normally found on Threaded and Threadless headsets. Integrated headsets all use sealed bearings.

We provide a pre-filled returns form you can use for the return. For returns outside the UK, you'll be required to pay shipping costs with tracking.

Warranty Policy - Our Risk Free Support

Within 30 Days of receipt of the items?

Simple 30 days retailer warranty on all orders with genuine manufacturer defects.

More than 30 Days?

We work with the brands/suppliers to see if it can be covered under warranty for you (usually it is, but depends on the way the damage has occurred).

Still not covered but within 6 months of purchase?

We offer a crash replacement policy, where we offer a goodwill policy of 25% discount off your next order with us for the same/alternative replacement item, not including postage costs.

So how does it work?

  1. Fill in the form and go ahead and place your order now Important: make sure you use the same email for both the price promise form and your order.
  2. We'll email you after the order has been placed confirming the refund +10% the difference for the price match, if there's any issue that comes up, we'll ask you what you want.

The boring conditions bit:

  1. Make sure the item being sold elsewhere is new and include a direct link to it.
  2. We can price match international sites subject to import taxes & delivery costs being included in the price e.g. Australia imports are subject to duty of 2.5% and 20% VAT for the value of the item, plus the shipping charge of the individual retailer.
  3. The item must be in stock and actively being sold.
  4. At our own discretion we can refuse to offer the price match. Where this is the case we will offer you a full refund, this is rare, but there are exceptions. We will offer to refund the order in full if this happens.
