Important Note: Compatibility is not guaranteed, in particular for the bars you choose make sure you’re aware what compression type you want or have on your scooter.

Note that both HIC and IHC compression requires a slit cut at the bottom of the bars to fit, check Youtube on how to do this yourself. For SCS Bars, there should not be a slit, if the bars do have a slit, they will need to be cut shorter to remove the slit or fitted with an SCS sleeve.

Scooter Bars Specifications Explanation

Key Buying Advice:

  • Sizing: Remember both width and length of bars can be cut down if they’re too big for you
  • Material:
    Chromoly Steel = Strongest, but also Heaviest
    Aluminium = Lightest Material, but also Weakest
    Titanium = Strong & Light but also Expensive

    • Important Note to Check: Do the bars come with a slit? You’ll need 1 for HIC of IHC compression scooter setups. If you want SCS it has a slit, you’ll need to cut the end of the bars off where the slit is for it to fit.

Scooter Bars Buying Guide:

With bars you want to have the perfect size for you, naturally taller bars suit taller riders and the same is for the opposite.

Generally, the ideal bar height will be when the total scooter height is somewhere between your waist and hip area, however some riders do prefer taller or shorter bars than this. To figure out the total scooter height with any bar, a general rule of thumb is the bar height plus 8 inches. This can vary from scooter to scooter however 8 inches is the average.

The width of the bar is again, down to personal preference however a wider bar will spin slower on tricks such as barspins and skinnier bars will rotate faster. A wider bar can offer more overall control of the scooter. Some bars come with slight Backsweep on the crossbar section. Backsweep means that the crossbar is slightly curved back towards the rider and can be more comfortable to ride to some riders.

The material of the bar is very important as it can greatly affect the weight of the scooter and the strength of the bar. You will find that all bars will be made from either Chromoly Steel, Aluminium, or Titanium. A Chromoly Steel bar is normally heavier than an Aluminium or Titanium bar however chromoly steel is a stronger material.

Aluminium is one of the more preferred bars as it is very light and is cheaper than titanium however it is not as strong as Chromoly Steel or Titanium. Aluminium bars are only available in Oversized External and Standard sized internal diameters which means that HIC compression is not possible with the bars.

Titanium bars are just as strong as Chromoly Steel bars and are a fraction of the weight. Titanium bars are growing in popularity due to this however they are some of the most expensive bar options. Most companies will manufacture the Titanium bars to be oversized so only oversized SCS and HIC compression systems would be possible.

We provide a pre-filled returns form you can use for the return. For returns outside the UK, you'll be required to pay shipping costs with tracking.

Within 30 Days of receipt of the items?

Simple 30 days retailer warranty on all orders with genuine manufacturer defects.

More than 30 Days?

We work with the brands/suppliers to see if it can be covered under warranty for you (usually it is, but depends on the way the damage has occurred).

Still not covered but within 6 months of purchase?

We offer a crash replacement policy, where we offer a goodwill policy of 25% discount off your next order with us for the same/alternative replacement item, not including postage costs.
